How to use Starlie

Jump anywhere

Press ⌘K and start typing — an issue key, a summary, a project. Hit Return to open it.

Browse your backlog

Pick a project or a saved Space in the sidebar. The list shows type, status, priority and assignee for every issue at a glance.

Work with issues

Open an issue to see the description, subtasks and comments. Change status, assignee or priority from the detail view — or straight from the list with the context menu.

Search with JQL

Open advanced search for full JQL with autocomplete and syntax highlighting — fields, operators and values are suggested as you type.

Run your sprint

Switch to the board view for the active sprint and drag cards between columns — changes sync to Jira instantly.

See the big picture

The Outline window shows your work as a tree — epics, stories and subtasks across projects — with grouping, sorting and JQL scoping.

Troubleshooting

Still stuck? Email david@starlie.app — we answer fast.

Your Jira tokens stay on your Mac.

Your credentials live in the macOS Keychain. Your issues, comments and attachments flow directly between your Mac and Atlassian's official API — our server only completes the secure sign-in and never sees your Jira content.

Stop waiting on Jira.
